Liberal Arts students securing ANY internship in the private sector are eligible to apply for The Chapel Executive Internship Program.
Supporting the Monthly reporting and the Annual MTP planning processes. Assisting in preparation of reporting and management decision making information.
Supporting and participating in the development and monitoring of Benchmark data, including analysis of outcomes.
Market and industry research projects and reporting, data collection, consolidation, and presentation, and other communications support activities.
Attend and contribute to meetings as part of a range of insurance projects.
Provide administrative assistance.
Some essential job responsibilities include:
Gather information for company news articles
Assist in writing internal company messages
Interview company associates as required for news articles
Assist with writing articles for the company newsletter and internal website
Edit and post news articles on companys internal website
Assist in writing internal video scripts
Experience / Requirements:
Qualifications for this internship include:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Power Point
Basic interviewing skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills with particular attention to grammar, spelling and punctuation
Some experience in writing news-style articles for publications is a plus
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to work as part of a team and have demonstrated leadership ability
Willingness to learn the companys internal website management tool
Student must provide their own housing and transportation
Ability to pass drug test and additional background checks/screenings
Education:
Interested candidates should be in their junior or senior year of college, majoring in Mass Communications, Journalism or English.
