Gather round Liberal Arts majors! Ever received a less-than-perfect reaction from someone after telling them your major? Perhaps a, ”how are you getting job after college?”, or a ”what are you going to do with that?”. Or maybe you’ve heard the jokes and the scoffs. The truth is, most people come to hasty conclusions about the Humanities and those who study them, and we feel it’s about time we examined some of the assumptions behind those conclusions. What do Liberal Arts majors even contribute to society? Should every young college student studying Philosophy or English look forward to a life of unemployment? To combat these misconceptions, a group of students created this video…
