Wishing you a wonderful first day of classes! Hope you all enjoyed your first class today.
It was great seeing some of you at our International Student Orientation Welcome Party. If you haven’t looked at it as yet, here is the picture with Dean Long.
We at Liberal Arts Advising totally understand that the first week of classes is always full of excitement, craziness, happiness and fear. To help you relax after your first week of classes, Liberal Arts is partnering with Student Activities and presenting you with Late Night Fridays with Liberal Arts Staff. Katelyn Perry , Liberal Arts adviser in Anthropology would be joining you this Friday at HUB at 9 pm. You can paint an animal bobblehead – an activity organized by Creative Crafts as well as enjoy a blockbuster movie Captain America, screening at 7 pm, 9 pm and 12:00 am in the Hub Auditorium.
In addition to all these activities, White Building is open and you can access the gym as well as the pool. Finally you get to eat really cheap food- $1.50 slice of Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza (limit 2 slices per customer), $2.99 Pasta Special, and $1.49 for any size Fountain Soda – 9:00 PM–1:00 AM.
Katelyn has been with Liberal Arts for more than a decade and is a great person to meet with. She looks forward to seeing many international students this Friday at HUB entrance next to the Electronic Sign.
Good luck!
Sincerely
Nimisha
