PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The ACCEL Retail Bank Development Program (RBDP) – Consumer and Business Banking Track, is an accelerated development program for recent college graduates with exceptional leadership potential. ACCEL RBDP develops PNC’s next generation of Retail Bank leaders through a 12-month program that provides technical and leadership/professional development training enhanced by experiential learning opportunities.
The ACCEL RBDP combines leadership and sales/service excellence training with instruction on specific banking operations. Recognized as outstanding representatives of PNC’s brand (At PNC, we care about your achievement), successful graduates are eligible for career advancement opportunities.

The first five months of the ACCEL RBDP learning path offers a basic fundamental understanding of Retail Banking including four key rotations within the Branch and Business Banking divisions.
Successful graduates are placed in high-impact positions with fantastic career advancement in Branch Management and Business Banking. Potential opportunities exist in Alabama, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Economics, or otherrelated field
•Excellent academic record, 3.0 GPA or greater
•Senior graduating December 2014 – June 2015; or recent college graduates
•Achievement and demonstrated leadership in non-academic pursuits
•High self-confidence
•Ability to establish rapport and actively listen through strong communication skills
•Ability to work in teams and collaborate with diverse groups
•Ability to work & continuously learn in a fast-paced & dynamic environment
•Experience working in a Retail environment

ACCEL Retail Bank Development Program Associate – Financial Specialist
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
ACCEL’s Retail Bank Development Program (RBDP) Financial Specialist Track is an accelerated development program for recent college graduates with a strong academic financial background & exceptional leadership potential. ACCEL develops PNC’s next generation of Retail Bank leaders through a 12-month program that provides technical and leadership/professional development training enhanced by experiential learning opportunities.
The ACCEL RBDP Financial Specialist Track will prepare you to take on the Financial Specialist II position that will have you:
1.) Serve as the Branch focal point for PNC Investments in the branch ecosystem to cultivate and develop investment relationships by profiling and providing guidance regarding choices and performance transactions or services, as requested.
2.) Assist Branch Manager with investment goals by coaching and training staff and organizing and leading focused activities.
3.) Perform Branch Banking duties.

The first three months of the ACCEL RBDP learning path offers a basic fundamental understanding of Retail Banking including two key rotations within the Branch Banking division. Beginning month four, associates will spend time in preparation for completing the FINRA Series 7, 66 and State Life & Health Insurance exams for certification in the months to come. Upon passing the licensing exams associates will receive further training and experiential learning opportunities within the consumer banking and investment areas specific to their eventual placement in the Financial Specialist II role.
Successful graduates will be placed into Financial Specialist II roles across PNC’s footprint. Potential opportunities exist in the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

•Experience serving as coach and experience in frontline retail sales
•High ethical standards
