Penn State’s Council on Engaged Scholarship (COES) is pleased to invite you to the 2014 Engaged Scholarship Expo on Monday, November 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Heritage Hall, HUB-Robeson Center.
Engaged Scholarship experiences are out-of-classroom academic experiences that complement classroom learning. Examples include study abroad, internships, undergraduate research, capstone projects, and more. Engaged Scholarship can play a huge role in your academic and career success and can even change how you think about your education!
Start your journey at the expo! Hear directly from current students about their experiences and learn how you can build Engaged Scholarship into your time at Penn State!
The expo will include:
- High-energy “lightning” presentations from current students
- A resource fair with information about how you can participate in Engaged Scholarship
- Time to chat with students and staff who can answer questions and give advice
- Free food and giveaways, too!
Get started! Attend the expo on November 17!
