Interested in working with Kohl‘s? Several summer internships and full-time positions are recruiting for Liberal Arts majors.
Stores – Full-Time
The Store Management in Training (MIT) Program is the fast track to a career in retail. The program is designed to give trainees the experience they need in overall store operations to prepare them for running a multi-million dollar business. Over the course of a 12-week training period, trainees will gain hands-on experience with in-store merchandising, store operations, scheduling, payroll, hiring and more! Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be placed as an assistant store manager and will be responsible for running part of a $10-$16 million business. During their first year, trainees participate in a competition to develop a project to enhance a key business initiative for Kohl’s. The competition includes opportunities to present the project to senior leaders at the corporate office.
Stores – Internship
With opportunities across the country, this is where the action is! Store interns participate in an 8-week program designed to provide students with a realistic experience of retail management. The store internship experience includes learning how to manage a team, running a department, and culminates in leading a business analytic driven store walk with district leadership. By the end of the internship, students will have an understanding of what it takes to run a multi-million dollar Kohl’s store. If you’re interested in a career in retail or management, this is a fantastic opportunity to get you started!
