Business Analyst
Cerner Finance is a world-class organization that significantly leverages technology to effectively and efficiently deliver the appropriate financial knowledge in the optimal format at the appropriate time to the right person (associate or client) while maintaining enterprise wide controls. This includes a value-add system of international management reporting that supports an analytical decision process and appropriate transparency in external financial reporting.
The Business Analyst plays a key role in Cerner’s corporate-wide financial planning activities, including multiyear strategic planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting. In addition, the Business Analyst performs analysis of Cerner’s operations that increases understanding of key business drivers, improves the planning process, and informs tactical and strategic decision-making.
Economics majors or other majors with an analytical/data focus are encouraged to apply. 2-4 years of finance, accounting, operations or consulting experience is preferred, but not a requirement. Graduating seniors with previous internship or professional experiences are encourage to apply.
Support Analyst
Support Analysts are responsible for service request investigation and resolution (supporting internal and external clients), developing education/knowledge transfer materials for associates and clients, providing input for defining user needs and solution-specific testing. Support Analysts will investigate, analyze, and provide comprehensive solutions for service requests by using applicable monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
In this role you will be responsible for thorough documentation related to investigation and issue resolution. Position requires the ability to prioritize and manage work queue, providing troubleshooting support and knowledge transfer for associates, maintaining awareness of current solution functionality and its relationship to solution specific database tables. Adherence to client access, quality standards, and client notification policies and procedures is focus and primary function of role. Role requires individual to be accountable for communicating and working with the client to resolve key issues.
