Check In/Check Out Representative – this is a Full-Time position in our Client Services Department in Lancaster
A CHECK IN/CHECK OUT REPRESENTATIVE performs support services work of narrow complexity and variety, which requires little independent judgment. Support Services is a company-wide administrative service that uses a process management approach to enhance customer satisfaction and financial health for CSG. Support Services holds to a standard of a team-based performance and competencies in providing service excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The CHECK IN/CHECK OUT REPRESENTATIVE serves as the first point of contact for all individuals receiving services.
- Greets all individuals entering the building and directs them appropriately.
- Collects payments at time of service.
- Verifies and updates demographic and insurance information .
- Completes consents to release information .
- Schedules appointments if applicable .
- Obtains signatures on the verification of clinical transactions.
- Provides back-up to the registration team as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based software systems. Sees the potential in and understands the use of technology in process improvement. Understands how information technology tools simplify, streamline, and improve overall output.
- Maintain a poised and composed disposition at all times even during difficult situations. Attends to thoughts and concerns (spoken and unspoken) displayed by others including recognizing emotion by reading body language, facial expression and or tone of voice.
- Demonstrate ethical and sound professional practices by acting consistently and according to CSG’s mission and core values, promoting organizational and personal integrity, and adhering to CSG confidentiality policies and upholding trustworthiness.

Minimum Education, Credentials, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Medical Assistant Degree Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
Special Requirements: Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulation or policy.
