If you were thinking about studying abroad this spring and thought you missed your chance, think again! Every year the Education Abroad office re-opens a number of programs for the upcoming spring semester. If you are interested in learning a new place and culture while earning Penn State credit you should apply!
The list of programs include the College of the Liberal Arts own faculty led program to Athens, Greece. This program focuses on history, culture and archaeology. Why not take a Greek language course while exploring the archaeology of ancient Greece? To be eligible for the program you must have a 2.5 minimum gpa and have at least sophomore class standing. You can learn more about this opportunity on the program page.
If the Athens program isn’t right for you, don’t fret. There are 106 other options including; the EuroScholars Program which allows students to partake in a semester of undergraduate research at one of ten European universities, or the Study in Rabat program that allows students with no prior Arabic to not only take language courses but also subject courses in history, literature, politics or social action, they even offer an optional internship. Other locations where there are excellent options include; Paris, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Sydney and many more!
