You are half way through the spring semester!
Spring break is a perfect time to catch up on some sleep, spend time with family and friends, AND make sure the rest of your spring semester is a productive one!
Here are a few things you can do over break:
- Apply for Summer 2017 internships and/or start searching for Summer 2017 opportunities under the Jobs tab in your Network Symplicity account.
- Learn more about your unique combination of strengths by requesting a code and completing the StrengthsFinder on-line assessment.
- Submit your application for enrichment funds if you need support for a summer 2017 internship, research, or global experience. Make sure to review the Chapel Executive Internship Program requirements to see if you qualify for this specific opportunity to receive $5,000 to support your summer internship.
- Talk with your family about your plans to gain global experience next academic year – through study abroad or an international internship. The spring 2018 primary deadline is May 1, but applications will be accepted until the final deadline on September 15.
- Save the date: applications will open for the Liberal Arts Alumni Mentor Program on March 15. This is a great way to connect with alumni who are interested in assisting you with your career plans!
- Review the rest of the springs semester events. Upcoming events include: Etiquette Dinner (RSVP by 3/23 here), Study Abroad Info Session, Lunch & Learn with Venture for America (RSVP in Network Symplicity), & more!
- Update your resume with any new activities, revised GPA, etc.
- Be sure to add any spring and summer internship positions to your Network Symplicity profile here.
