Liberal Arts is hosting an event on Saturday, and we invite you and your families to join us for the festivities:
Back to Class!
Give your family members the chance to see what a Liberal Arts class is like!
Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017
10:00 a.m.–Noon
121 Sparks Building / Sparks Lobby
Enjoy some breakfast treats before and after “class”!
Mingle with academic advisers, staff from the Career Enrichment Network, Liberal Arts Envoys, and members of the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council. Chat with current Liberal Arts students who have studied abroad, completed an internship, or participated in the undergraduate research exhibition.
At 10:45 in 121 Sparks, you and your visitors can experience what it’s like to be in a Liberal Arts class, and the lecture topic applies directly to the theme of the weekend!
Dr. Jon Nussbaum, a faculty member in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences, will present a short lecture titled
“Intergenerational Communication: Why is juggling family relationships so difficult?” Dr. Nussbaum’s mini-lecture could generate some interesting family conversations later!
We look forward to seeing you there! Questions? Contact Katelyn Perry at krp5@psu.edu.
