Are you interested in applying to a Masters Program after graduation? Have you ever wondered what student life is like at an Ivy-League school? Would you like to experience a one-week management training program that will challenge you and literally change your way of thinking? If so, the Harvard Business School’s Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP) is designed to attract students like you!
The purpose of this highly regarded program is to promote educational diversity and opportunity within business leadership for underrepresented students. Admitted students have the opportunity to be immersed into the life of an MBA student at HBS- from learning by the renowned case method taught by Harvard faculty, to forming lasting relationships with other high-potential students from around the nation. Although this program is for rising seniors, all years and majors that identify as one or more of the following criteria are invited to attend:
- The first family member to attend college;
- A member of a group that is currently underrepresented in business schools and corporate America (e.g. African-American, Latino, Native American, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender);
- From a family with little business education or experience
