The Penn State University Fellowships Office is hosting an information session for interested undergraduates, graduates, and alumni to learn about the Fulbright Scholarship on Friday, April 18 from 12:15-1:15 in the Grandfather Clock Lounge in Atherton Hall.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs. A candidate will submit a Statement of Grant Purpose defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S. During their grants, Fulbrighters will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. This informational event is an opportunity to learn more about the Fulbright program application and evaluation process. Guest speaker Walter Jackson, Program Manager from the Institute of International Education (IIE), will be there to answer any questions.
Please RSVP by Friday, April 11 to: univ-fellowships@psu.edu
