As an intern, you will work alongside West employees who will provide guidance and expertise in the design, development, manufacturing, sterilization, and packaging of medical components, and youll gain significant, marketable skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing the following majors: Business, Human Resources or a similar field of study
Must have completed at least two full years toward degree program
Must have strong computer skills including Adobe Captivate
Must have an interest in Organizational Development
Some positions require some travel and all require a 40 hour work week
The ideal candidate will currently be pursuing a Bachelors degree in HRM, HRD, Organizational Development or a related field. The candidate must be detail-oriented, an effective communicator, have the ability to maintain confidentiality and have a basic understanding of the HR body of knowledge.
Key Duties & Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
Provide general and administrative support to the Human Resources team;
Assist with all aspects of new hire onboarding (background screening, personnel file management, new hire orientation scheduling and preparation);
Handling basic employee questions and requests, escalating to HR management when necessary;
Prepare Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point documents;
Copying, filing, shredding and sorting documents;
Assisting with organizing, planning and executing HR initiatives;
Special projects as assigned.
