This talk, given by Mr. Said Maalouf, a Penn State Grad, Fulbright Scholar, and current UN Public Information Assistant, will focus on the composition of the UN, its history, and structure as the headquarters of international diplomacy worldwide. It will also address current issues faced by the organization and its role in achieving development and peace, and will discuss the hiring process that UN candidates undergo.
