You will join GAO’s 2 year Professional Development Program (PDP) for entry-level analysts. The PDP experience includes a combination of on-the-job and classroom training, regular feedback and coaching, and exposure to different projects, issues, and management styles. Project assignments are based on a combination of GAO’s needs and your background and interests. You will placed in various project assignments that provide you with a range of developmental opportunities.
This is an entry level analyst position in which selected/hired applicants will join the PDP program and rotate among three of the 11 mission teams during their first two years before being placed in one mission team. However, we have a need for a limited number of entry level staff to work only within GAO’s Health Care Team while they are in the developmental program. You will be asked (in the vacancy questions section of this announcement) whether you wish to be considered for GAO’s Health Care team or if you’d prefer to rotate among various GAO mission teams throughout your first 2 years of employment with the agency. If you select to rotate among various teams, these teams are listed below.
