EnergyPlus, is seeking three (3) students to work full time (40 hours/week) during Summer 2015, in Allentown, PA.
Position Summary
A PPL Intern is a temporarily employed full-time college student in an accredited four-year institution of higher learning, who is offered a work-study program designed to give college students practical work experience in their field of study. This program often helps students determine career interests. Beyond the scope of the actual tasks performed, the student becomes familiar with a corporate environment and gains practical skills and knowledge to supplement their classroom experience.

Job Description
As an EnergyPlus intern, you will work with a team of marketers, traders, analysts and support personnel on various initiatives. Depending on your area of focus, you may be responsible for tasks such as the following:

• Eastern Trading
o Researching, understanding, and working with teams on trading positions, power plant management and congestion management.
• Retail Pricing
o Gathering and analyzing regional marketing, pricing, and trading data.
• Retail Electric Sales Support
o Assisting with marketing communications, events, planning and related functions associated with customer relationship management.
• Retail Marketing
o Conducting market research and gathering competitive intelligence and present findings.
• Retail Process Support
o Performing vendor research in response to business technology needs and supporting development, testing and analysis of sales data and CRM.

Basic Qualifications
Enrolled in an accredited college or university program.
Enrolled in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate or masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study. Technical/Trade school and paralegal requirements differ.
Enrolled on a full-time basis (12 semester hours). Students may not continue as an Intern once they have graduated.
Have an acceptable overall grade point average, not lower than a 3.2.
Eligible to work in accordance with Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) regulations.
Able to provide an official student transcript and other required information.
18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Able to work in a team environment.
Able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
