Parsons Brinckerhoff currently has a need for a Summer Human Resources Intern in our Lancaster, PA office.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Help with recruiting efforts nationwide
Source/search the internet and social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Monster, CareerBuilder, and others, to find qualified passive and active candidates
Uses current/modern Internet sourcing techniques to effectively source active/passive candidates
Supports sourcing strategies through leveraging internet tools, social networking, and specialty online ads.
Support the College Recruiting and Internship program
Assist on special projects as needed
Requirements
Undergraduate Business student
Interest in Human Resources/Recruiting/Research/Sales
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong organization skills
Ability to perform well under time constraint
Willingness to accept challenges and learn from experience
Work authorization required

Schedule
15 hours per week, if starting before the school year is over AND/OR fulltime (up to 40 hours) for the summer
Days and times are flexible, however we do expect you to work during our normal business hours Monday Friday, 8:30 5:30

Qualifications:
*Required:
Current undergraduate student (rising junior or above
Interest in the Cable/Entertainment Industry
2.5 GPA or above
Submission of cover letter- required
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work at least 35 hours/week for 8 weeks
Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to provide administrative suppose as needed
Preferred:
Cable television experience a plus
Active participation in extracurricular activities; clubs; and/or associations. Leadership positions while maintaining an above-average GPA, a plus
Prior internship experience in a related field, a plus
