There are so many options for students during the summer semester; stay on campus and finish a few classes, focus on an internship, work a summer job, or take part in a global experience!
This summer over 250 Liberal Arts students chose to pack up and study abroad! Of the 250+ students, the majority of students decided to head to Western Europe. With more than one third of all of the Liberal Arts Students abroad this summer, Italy and Spain are the two most popular destinations.
However, quite a few students are taking part in a program in a non-traditional location. Seventy students will go on a faculty led, embedded or partner program in Asia, South America, Africa or Latin America. Among these are two newly offered embedded courses that traveled to China and Cuba. While one group headed to Havana to get a deeper understanding of Cuban culture and history, another group traveled to Nanjing to gain insights on human resources management.
No matter the location, the summer of 2015 is guaranteed to be filled with memories for the 250+ students taking part in these varied, unique and exciting programs that span the globe.
If you are thinking about studying abroad be sure to check out the global experiences resources on the Career Enrichment Network website. To search for programs you can visit Global Programs.
