The March 1st contest application deadline is next week!
Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? Would you like the opportunity to pitch your idea to a group of successful entrepreneurs that have realized their dreams?
Smeal College of Business’s Center for Supply Chain Research and the Farrell Center for Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship are excited to announce the inaugural 2016 Supply Chain Entrepreneurship ‘Pitch’ Contest. Here are a few details:
- Open to all Penn State undergraduate students at University Park and all commonwealth campuses
- The pitch idea should focus on supply chain management, aimed at solving an industry problem or improving a product/process (suggestions submitted by industry leaders are listed on contest website, but these are just suggestions)
- Contest consists of two rounds: a virtual elimination round and a final, live presentation
- Prizes include $2,500 for the first place team and $1,000 for the runner-up
- Winning team will be provided guidance by the Farrell Center for Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship to move their idea forward
- Presentation by one of the industry’s most recognized entrepreneurs, Art Mesher of Clean SI8 DNA
