This is your chance to get the inside scoop on your program, meet other students participating in your program, learn more about the culture of your destination-city, discuss travel and packing tips, and much more! Students studying in the destinations below will be assigned a room in which you can break off into groups with other students attending your program.

“What do I do if I get sick while abroad?”
“Who should I reach out to if I encounter problems?”
“I’m nervous about being away from home, what can I do to prepare myself?”
Focusing on health, safety and overall wellness, facilitators from Education Abroad, The Global Safety Office and Counseling Services will use practical examples and activities to highlight available resources for staying safe, and healthy while acclimating to a new culture. Students will walk away with a tool kit of techniques to handle the natural ups and downs of cultural immersion and be prepared to have a successful study abroad experience.
Students who attend a workshop, or multiple, will be entered in a drawing to win a prize.
