Start Prepping for Spring Career Days: February 14

Spring Career Days is right around the corner (Tuesday, February 14, 2017)! If you are still looking for a summer internship of full-time position, make sure to participate in the career fair and prep workshops.

Here are some things you can do to prepare for the fair!

  1. What You’ll Do

You will be working in Client Services.

Our client work will throw a variety of challenges at you, ranging from analyzing the chemical backings of pharmaceutical drugs, to optimizing the global supply chains of consumer product companies, to helping banks turn fraud detection into improved consumer experiences.

You will be assigned to a client location and work as a member of a globally distributed Mu Sigma team, one that bridges the client location and our India center. You will be asked to:

The Journey Begins In India – The Columbus Program
In the 15th century, Columbus set out for India seeking a key economic gateway in the spice trade. Fast forward to the 21st century, and you’ll find that India is much more than a gateway. High Lantern Group 2017 Summer Associate Program

Program Overview
High Lantern Group (HLG) is a strategic positioning and reputation management
consultancy focused on developing early-stage strategy and communications for some of the
most iconic brands and dozens of notable public and private organizations.

Our Summer Associates Program is a structured, competitive ten-week program. Summer
Associates will be exposed to a wide range of consulting work in the fields of strategic
communications, public affairs, public policy, and business strategy. Summer Associates
(SAs) will have many responsibilities, including conducting market and public policy-related
research, developing client proposals and engagement strategies, constructing reports for
internal and client-facing presentations, drafting client deliverables and other collateral, and
assisting with administrative duties. In addition, SAs will have access to a wide-range of
HLG resources to make their experience both intellectually stimulating and supportive of
their career aspirations.

Candidates may apply to become summer associates in any of High Lantern Group’s five
offices: Asheville, NC; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; or Washington,
D.C. Applying to multiple offices is welcome. Candidates will be expected to commit to a
full-time position for ten weeks, from June 12 to August 18.

Desired Qualifications
Candidates with a graduate degree and/or 1-2 years of experience are preferred.
Undergraduates that expect to graduate after June 2017 will not be considered for the
