Are you interested in studying abroad but are not sure what location or even how to begin the process?
Then come out to the Education Abroad Fair on Wednesday, October 8th in the HUB from 11am until 4pm to hear from Penn State Colleges, faculty and global partners.
In conjunction with the Education Abroad Fair, the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council will be hosting a Study Abroad Panel at 4:30pm on October 8th in 124 Sparks. The panel will feature Penn State undergraduate students who have had remarkable global experiences. At the panel, the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council will be having various student representatives who have completed research abroad, a study abroad program, an internship abroad, as well as an international student.
In addition to these students, an adviser from Global Programs named Whitney Strickler will be present. If you are considering studying abroad in the future or even if you are unsure, I would definitely recommend attending both the fair and the panel to learn about the numerous abroad opportunities and gain some valuable information in regard to application processes and important deadlines. As someone who has studied abroad in Ireland and Ghana as an undergraduate, I can honestly say from personal experience that attending the Education Abroad Fair helped me to make a decision about where I ultimately wanted to study abroad.
