First-year Paterno Fellows and PF aspirants are encouraged to apply for membership in the next Presidential Leadership Academy class. The selection process takes place this semester and activities begin in the fall. Interested? Come to the info session on Wednesday, February 5th at 2:30pm- 3:30pm in 102 Weaver Building! There will be helpful hints and frequently asked questions will be addressed. Current Liberal Arts Presidential Leadership Academy members will also be there to offer their perspectives on what makes a successful application and what the PLA involves and offers. If so, the Harvard Business School’s Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP) is designed to attract students like you!
The purpose of this highly regarded program is to promote educational diversity and opportunity within business leadership for underrepresented students. Admitted students have the opportunity to be immersed into the life of an MBA student at HBS- from learning by the renowned case method taught by Harvard faculty, to forming lasting relationships with other high-potential students from around the nation. Although this program is for rising seniors, all years and majors that identify as one or more of the following criteria are invited to attend:
